\nMit dem Tourismus hat sich auch der Yachting-Bereich deutlich weiterentwickelt – mit Erfolg: Zweimal in Folge k\u00fcrte das Magazin Carribean World 2005 und 2006 St. Vincent & The Grenadines zum „Best Sailing & Yachting Island Island of the Year“. Fr\u00fcher gab es nur wenige H\u00e4fen zum Einklarieren und kaum Yachtcharter-St\u00fctzpunkte – inzwischen sind Charteryachten unter anderem auf St. Vincent, Union Island und auf Canouan stationiert. Ports of Entry sind Kingstown, Walliabou, Chateaubelair, St. Vincent, Port Elizabeth auf Bequia, Mustique, Canouan und Union Island. <\/p>\n
Die Grenadinen sind auch das Paradies der “boat boys:” Gem\u00fcse, Fr\u00fcchte und Fisch werden direkt an die Yacht gebracht, manchmal bequem, oft auch l\u00e4stig. Die „boat boys“ helfen aber auch beim Ausbringen der Landleinen und beim Bewachen der Dinghys. F\u00fcr viele ist das die einzige Einkommensquelle.
