Yacht Charter Bodoe

Bodoe is the capital of the Norwegian province of Nordland and like Tromso is situated north of the polar circle. 18 miles east flows Saltstraumen, a sound with one of the strongest tidal currents ever. Many white-tailed eagles nestle in the environment, on the banks of the river that is extremely rich in fish. The town has grown in the 19th century mainly due to the fishing of large shoals of herring. Like in Tromö, the shipping company Hurtigruten has made a substantial contribution to the growth of this region with their warranty of passenger and freight traffic.
