Yacht Charter Lofoten

The largest islands of the Lofoten archipelago are connected with one another. Between the Norwegian dry land and the archipelago lies the Vestfjord. High mountains influence the climate of the islands: most of the inhabitants, that used to live on fishing and supplied the merchants in the mountains, settle on the milder east side. Draught, mainly of codfish is next to tourism main income source. The tidal current between the islands can be ferocious and lead to dangerous vortexes. There are charter bases on the Lofoten themselves and in Bergen on the main land.
