Yacht Charter Cienfuegos

Cienfuegos, location of several keyword Yacht Charter bases and the center of Yacht Charter touism in Cuba is worthwhile even an extended visit. The city has retained much of its colonial charm and is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Christopher Columbus was here in 1494 – 1745 a fortress was built to defend the place against pirates. But only later the French founded the city, their influence is still to be seen in the architecture in town: there is even a "Arc de Triomphe".

The people of Cienfuegos live mainly from trading in their port, shrimp fishing and sugar exports, and now also from petrochemical industry.
