Yacht Charter Tjörn

Tjörn, situated in the North of Gothenburg, is the fifth-largest island in Sweden with over 15.000 inhabitants and connected with the dry land and the neighbour island Orust via bridges. Fishing and boat building used to be the mayor branches of the economy. Shipping companies and boat yards also have their seat here. Lots of tourists visit Tjörn in the summer – every August, around 1.300 yachts set out for the 30 miles long Tjörn Runt Race. Favoured destinations for sailors are the offshore islands Astol and Häron.
