Kroatien KonobaThe area demands good navigation skills, there are many stones and cliffs, but with solid chart work and GPS cruising should not be a problem. This cruise shows the highlights of the area you can easily sail in one week to discover the Kornati islands and the Krka waterfalls.

This itinerary prefers the small village ports and not the big well known marinas – even in the small ports you will get fuel and fresh water. It should be sufficient to shop enough provisions for breakfast and lunch at Zadar for the first 3 days of your cruise – in the evenings you should enjoy the local restaurants with their traditional food. At the Krka waterfalls you should absolutely buy mussels, fishermen will bring them directly to your boat, swimmung!

The daily distances seem very short, but the wind blows not always like expected and thus you could comfortably make the distances under engine as well.

When you have more time and want to sail another week you should include Hvar and Korcula into your planning as well as an excursion to Split. This would provide you once again with a lot of interesting impressions – and with another approx. 150 nautical miles.
