Yacht Charter Kalamaki

The suburb of Kalamaki – heart of the Yacht Charter tourism in Greece with a lot of Yacht Charter bases – is located in the south of the capital of Athens,about 15 km from the city center, 8 km from near Piraeus. The Marina Kalamaki is one of the biggest in Greece, with about 1000 berths. Most Yacht Charter companies have their Yacht Charter fleets in the part of Kalamaki which is well known as Alimos Marina.

From the airport to the Yacht Charter base in Kalamaki you need about 45 minutes per bus. The Plaka, old town of Athens, is about 20 minutes away if you take a taxi. At the marina itself and in Kalamaki there are numerous bars and taverns, close to the port a supermarket and other shopping opportunities for Yacht Charter crews. Nearby, at the Greek Riviera, lies Vougliagmeni (see picture), preferred and exclusive suburb of the Athenians.

One week Yacht Charter cruises from Kalamaki mostly concentrate on the islands of the Saronic Gulf – like Poros, Aegina, Hydra, Spetsai or Portoheli. Yacht Charter crews who have more time often like to explore the Cyclades.
