Yacht Charter Losinj

A lot of pines, palms, lemon trees, other subtropical plants and flowers adorn the island Losinj in the Kvarner bay which belongs to the sunniest areas of Europe. Together with the neighbour island Cres Losinj formed a bigger island earlier. The Romans already built a channel between Losinj and Cres 2000 years ago – today they are connected by a revolving bridge. Losinj is nowadays divided in two parts by the Privlaka channel. Here you find the the Marina Losinj and a Yacht Charter base, near Mali Losinj.

Mali Losinj, small Losinj, is called the bigger northern part of the town. Veli Losinj, great Losinj, is the historical core of the island. In Mali Losinj there is a picturesque old town port, where some berths wait for Yacht Charter crews for an overnight stay.

From Losinj the best cruising destinations are the other islands in the Kvarner Bay, Istria or the northern islands of the Kornati archipelago.
